Amy Orlin D.V.M. Medical Director
Dr. Orlin received her BS from Emory University and her DVM from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. She has twenty-three years of experience as a small animal private practitioner in the Atlanta area. She has served as staff veterinarian at the Dekalb Humane Society. Dr. Orlin is applying her skills and expertise exclusively to animal welfare issues and developing non-lethal methods to manage pet overpopulation problems in Atlanta. Dr Orlin is skilled in the practice of pediatric spay/neuter. Dr. Orlin has performed over 30,000 successful spay/neuter surgeries from 2002 to 2008. In July of 2008 Dr. Orlin co-founded WellPet Humane. Under her leadership WellPet has become Atlanta’s Pet Charity Clinic offering over $100,000 in discounted services to financially struggling pet owners.
Dr Amy Orlin was awarded the Distinguished Veterinarian Award by the Greater Atlanta Veterinary Medical Association. She is a leader in the veterinary field and a humanitarian veterinarian.
