The LifeSaver Fund works to provide critical treatment for indigent animals with life-threatening medical needs. We receive no government support. We depend entirely on humane contributions. Each donation is vital, whether it is given by a foundation, in a bequest, or in a fundraising event. It doesn’t matter if it is $10 or $10,000, every donation is important to us.
When an animal comes to WellPet in need of life-saving treatment, a grant request is issued by a WellPet doctor. If funds are available, surgery is performed. The owner or guardian must provide a copay to offset costs. The remainder of the cost is covered by the “LifeSaver Fund”. These animals are in serious trouble and are often seen as emergencies. In order to save the pets life, WellPet underwrites the costs and performs the surgery. We then ask for donations to “pay it forward.” In this way we are able to replenish the LifeSaver Fund and respond to the next patient in need of critical care.
I, Bob Christiansen, as president, can assure you that 100% of your tax-deductible donation, 100 cents of every dollar will go directly to help animals in need of critical medical attention. If you donate to animal organizations I can assure you that this is the best way for your donation to have maximum impact.
